She is a board-certified Doctor of Nursing Practice Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience providing psychiatric evaluation and medication management to individuals across the lifespan. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2015 and has spent more than a decade caring for individuals with a wide range of mental health needs.
Dione has experience treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, schizophrenia, and other psychotic disorders, trauma-related conditions, and complex psychiatric conditions. She has a particular interest in psychopharmacology and is committed to staying current with advances in psychiatric treatment and evidence-based medication management.
Her approach to care is collaborative, practical, and individualized. Dione believees patients should be heard and involved in decisions about their treatment, and she takes time to understand not only symptoms, but how those symptoms are affecting a person's everyday life and overall well-being.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dione is involved in professional education and provides educational presentations to other healthcare professionals on psychiatric conditions and treatment.
